How I approach therapy
As your therapist I will encourage you to live more consciously in the moment as we utilize techniques in therapy, but also between sessions where real life returns and patterns and triggers are more likely to occur. This will help in accomplishing the changes you want. In therapy I use highly effective techniques that draw from Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Processes, and mindfulness practices. The tools, insights and self-discovery that you gain are yours forever and can continue to serve you even if the length of our time together is minimal.
I have had specialized training in couples and family therapy and taught parenting classes. Approximately half of my practice is individual therapy and I have developed a specialization in helping individuals improve their intimate relationships without their partner having to be present.
