I am a Licensed Therapist in Portland, Oregon. I work with many different clients on a variety of problems. I like to work with individuals and couples to overcome the challenges they face that keep them from the life they want.
In my practice I integrate elements of many theories (cognitive behavioral therapy, neuro-linguistic processes, positive psychology, solution focused therapy, emotionally focused therapy, human needs theory, narrative therapy) and follow current research in order to have the tools to help an individual or couple find what works for them in their unique experience.
My own self-development has always been important to me. I’ve sought growth through my own counseling, attending workshops, seminars and reading and applying what I learn to better understand myself and grow as a result.
It is important for therapy to take place in a safe, caring and confidential environment and as client and therapist, we may work together for only a few sessions or much longer, depending on the your unique needs and personal goals, but I always do my best to be nonjudgmental, compassionate and authentic.
